Miki Mori was born and raised in Kanazawa City, Japan, she grew up studying traditional
Japanese arts Including Kimono dressing, Calligraphy, and licensed in Koryu, a traditional
Japanese flower arranging.

Miki gravitated towards the United States as a hair and makeup artist and based herself in New York City in 1998. Here editorial work has been seen in several Including, international publications including W, Vanity Fair, Spanish and Japanese Vogue, American, Polish and Japanese ELLE, American and Greece Marie Claire, Japanese Harpers Bazaar, Seventeen, In Style, Madame, Cosmopolitan, Surface, Black book. Minnesota Bride, Wisconsin Bride. Miki’s was worked with the likes of Selma Blair, Chloe Sevigny, and Paris Hilton.
 
Miki believes the key to a great hair and makeup depends on the individual, not necessarily current trends. Some of her most interesting creations involved hours of making wigs and weaving extensions into the hair.
